
Tracy Perry DIP ARCH MSc ARB RIBA
Tracy graduated from Nottingham School of Architecture in 1999 qualifying as a registered Architect in 2000. She continued her studies with a PG Diploma in Urban Design awarded with Distinction from The Joint Centre for Urban Design at Oxford Brookes University and in 2024 was awarded MSc Conservation of Historic Timber Buildings with Distinction taught at the Weald and Downland Living Museum and administered through the University of York. Tracy also received the Roger Champion prize for Academic Excellence for her dissertation which focussed on early 20thcentury alterations to historic timber-framed buildings.
Tracy has practiced as a Heritage Architect for the past 25 years working with renowned conservation architects Donald Insall and Anthony Swaine and for 5 years was a Heritage Officer for Canterbury City Council.
Tracy has a passion for vernacular buildings and particularly timber-framed buildings and enjoys bringing otherwise redundant structures back into useful service. Tracy is also passionate about sustainable design and construction and has previously designed and constructed her own self-built house to Passivhaus standards.
Tracy heads up the Heritage team at James Clague Architects and enjoys working collaboratively with the cross disciplinary teams which comprise the Latchmere House Group
