The Octagon is an 18th century toll house which is a Grade II Listed. It was originally design with no internal walls to allow views in all directions, so nobody could slip by. These days, living in a building with 135 degree corners is not easy and it takes careful planning to create interiors suitable for modern living.
Our brief was to create a spacious kitchen and dining area that enjoys the magnificent garden along with an improved entrance, boot room and master suite.
We are delighted to have secured Planning and Listed Building Consent for extensions to The Octagon. We are now commencing the technical design stage to fully detail the work, secure Building Regulation Approval and obtain prices from contractors.
We look forward to building work commencing in the New Year.
